The world faces an unprecedented hunger crisis. The storm of conflict, climate change, and rising costs are driving children and families into extremely vulnerable conditions. In response to this crisis, churches worldwide are joining together for “The Weekend of Prayer and Action Against Hunger” on 11-13 October 2024.

On Friday 11 October, our church is hosting an ecumenical, bilingual prayer service and dialogues for Geneva area churches and organizations concerned about hunger in our community and globally. The event will begin at 11:00 with a prayer service, followed by a light lunch. After lunch Faith Community Dialogues will be facilitated in small group conversations about hunger in our community and the churches’ response to hunger. The event is free of charge, and all are invited to participate. Registration is requested, particularly for the Faith Community Dialogues to allow for appropriate planning. A French-speaking dialogue group is also planned. You may register by scanning the QR code on the event flier.
